Courses from Global University

   Global University, formerly known as International Correspondence Institute, has been providing fully accredited ministerial degree programs for over 30 years. It is a worldwide distance education provider for ministry preparation to over 180 countries around the world in 152 languages. Global University is accredited with the Higher Learning Commission.

   Global University offers courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels of study. To make learning a little easier, PPT provides a weekly learning centre environment where students can discuss and ask questions to the facilitator with regards to the previous week’s lesson.

   A unique aspect of the program is the emphasis on applied learning and ministry through a Service Learning Requirement. This requirement allows learners to move more rapidly from theory to practical application of what they are learning.

   Adult students of all ages are able to register to take the course being offered for credit or just audit the course.

   The current course offered at PPT is The Gospel of John. The students will study the structure of the Gospel and do a textual analysis of the writing under topics of the period of consideration; the period of controversy; the period of conflict; the period of crisis; the period of conference; and the period of consummation. All of these periods deal with the life of Christ from John’s perspective.

   The next Global University course to be offered at PPT early in 2012 will be "The Bible and the Church".
